What It Means To Falter

Statement

I am the oldest sibling in a tight-knit family of six. I was the first of the kids to go to college and that suddenly meant I didn’t see my brothers everyday. I left this sacred space of mine, bringing as many memories as I could carry in the form of mundane objects, photos and traditions. My life started to speed up as I continued to grow, putting more distance between us. In an attempt to slow down time, I began to study in depth the images I took with me and relish in the memories tied to each one. Line for line, detail for detail, I attempt to recapture my treasured family and surround myself once again in their comfort and life.
